Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and as the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a CNN political commentator from 2017 until 2020. Psaki started her professional career with an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and then became the governor of Iowa. Psaki then served as press secretary in John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Between 2005 and the year 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was the press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. 20 Psaki quit as spokesperson for the United States Department of State, on February 11 2013. She was hired by the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21] But, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30, 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 as the communications director, and she was there until the conclusion of Obama's presidency.
