Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born March 4th, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress as well as a comedian and writer. O'Hara has been awarded numerous prizes which include one Genie Award and a Golden Globe Award. O'Hara also was awarded two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, six Canadian Screen Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2018, O'Hara was named an Officer of Canada. She was also awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara first became known as an actress when she was a member the The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. She was a part of the principal cast in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara began working with Candy on Second City Television's sketch comedy program (1976-1984). O'Hara was praised for her stand-up and writing abilities, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the newly formed Second City artistic advisory board which was headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
